Belgium's concrete industry operates 270 plants and 2,200 mixer trucks serving construction sites daily, with 60% requiring concrete pumps. Coordinating central plants, fleet managers, and on-site operators was chaotic — delayed responses, incomplete information sharing, and missed deadlines plagued complex multi-stakeholder projects. There was no centralized system for vehicle management, operator scheduling, or real-time communication across the supply chain.
We developed Concreteasy, an end-to-end coordination platform designed for the entire concrete supply chain. The platform features a multi-view reservation system (List, Calendar, Board, and Timeline views), real-time dispatching with GPS route visualization, a mobile-first operator interface with digital schedules and live status updates, and a comprehensive equipment catalog with visual browsing, technical specifications, and filtering.
The architecture includes dynamic pricing management (hourly, weekend, and coverage rates), detailed vehicle specification tracking, and status monitoring across the full job lifecycle. Built on React/Next.js and Java with MongoDB on AWS, the platform is designed to handle thousands of concurrent operations.
Concreteasy delivered a scalable coordination architecture designed to support the full scope of Belgium's concrete industry — 270 plants and 2,200+ vehicles. The platform eliminates manual coordination bottlenecks through real-time visibility, provides fleet managers and dispatchers with instant operational awareness, and empowers field operators through a mobile-first experience. The cloud-native architecture is ready for industry-wide adoption.
